The obverse shows the Polish eagle in a crown sitting on a amazon shield. Cast in brass, appears to have been gilded. Rugged reverse with a slide.

A Polish wz.39 eagle cap badge, made for the Polish Army in the Middle East. In the book of Tomasz Zawistowski,"Orły do czapek w 2. Korpusie Polskim", (Eagle badges in the 2nd Polish Corps) an similar eagle appears on page 129 (il.180). This is one of the so-called "Palestinian" eagles produced in the Middle East, made on the basis of the wz.39 eagle of Syrian/Palestin production.
